INFORMATION & STAFF

 

ooiCTRLD for Public Heath Research and Intervention (ooiCTRLD for PHRI or simply PHRI, pronounced "Fry") is a community-based participatory health research and intervention division of the the Division Of Development, ooiCTRLD. It is a "Think Tank" formed by members of the ooi Academy's public health research and intervention special interest group during the conference that was held in Deadwood, South Dakota, in the year 2005. The staff of PHRI is headed by a Director.

The "think tanks" of the organization are formed by various special interest groups of the organization and are formally established units in the Development division of the organization,
 

MISSION

The mission of PHRI is to serve the local and global communities through participatory community-based sponsored research and interventions for the benefit of mankind.
 

 PURPOSE

PHRI is established with the purpose of its staff collaborating their narrow special interests areas of their expertise with their colleagues, in a mentoring environment, to acquire resources for investigating research problems through grant writing, disseminating research results and developing interventions for the identified problems for the benefit of humankind.
