ooi ACADEMY BACKGROUND
 

The ooi Academy, the academic unit of the ooiCTRLD, was formally inaugurated at the year 2000 Congress, during the year 2000 ooiCTRLD's Faculty Student Conference in Shreveport, Louisiana, U. S. A. Since then the academy has evolved and become school of individuals who play active roles in running ooiCTRLD at a professional level. Such individuals are considered to be professionals from various works of life (academicians including students and non-academicians). These professionals form a unique bond to serve a unique global community that foster the existence and growth of the ooiCTRLD.
  

MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION

You are a member of the ooi Academy and listed in the ooiCTRLD document including on this website if you are
(i)    an executive staff of the ooiCTRLD,
(ii)   an officer of the ooiCTRLD Service Regions,
(iii)  a continuous active participant in sponsored research grant writing for the ooiCTRLD "Think Tanks,"
(iv)  continuously active in organizing conferences, giving workshops, giving seminars on behalf of ooiCTRLD, and
(v)   an in-house expert for the ooiCTRLD.

Membership in the ooi Academy is not perpetual. Membership qualification of each member is formally reviewed by the office of the Chancellor of the ooi Academy annually and continuous membership in the ooi Academy is determined.
 
MEMBERSHIP RANKS

The following are the ranks within the ooi Academy:

1. Assistant fellow of the ooi Academy,
2. Associate Fellow of the ooi Academy,
3. Fellow of the ooi Academy,
4. Senior Fellow of the ooi Academy,
5. Distinguished Fellow of the ooi Academy,
6. Guru of the ooi Academy and
7. Olu of the ooi.

Members of the ooi Academy (either ooi Junior Academy or ooi Senior Academy) shall start at the Assistant Fellow level and be formally promoted in rank through Associate Fellow, Fellow, Senior Fellow, Distinguished Fellow and Guru to Olu of ooi.
