ACADEMIC UNIT |

|
The academic unit of the organization is called ooi Academy. The purpose of the
unit is to nurture intellectual exchange and collaborations among members of the
ooi Academy. Such intellectual exchange and collaborations may lead to
development of experts in various fields for the organization. A group of members
of the organization who share common interest and expertise could form a "think
tank" devoted to solving the world's problems through sponsored research,
consulting and other activities. |

"THINK TANKS" |
||||
The "think
tanks" of the organization are various special interest groups of member
of the ooi Academy who have formally established units in the Development
division of the organization, with the purpose of collaborating their
special interest in the narrow area of their expertise in a
mentoring
environment, to acquire resources, mainly through sponsored grant
writing, for investigating research problems, disseminating research
results and developing interventions for the identified problems for the
benefit of humankind.
