MEMBERSHIP and BENEFITS

Membership.

Membership in ooiCTRLD is open to all faculty, students, other professionals and professional organizations throughout the world who are interested in i.) teaching, learning, research and development, ii.) research mentoring, iii) professional organization mentoring, and  iv.) attending ooiCTRLD conferences, seminars and workshops.

Membership in the organization is not perpetual.

There are two types of memberships, ordinary member and member of the ooi Academy.
An ordinary member is an individual who has participated in the organization's conference, seminars and or workshop, and he or she remains on the organization's mailing list. A member of the ooi Academy is an individual who has shown interest in becoming a member of ooi Academy, who is actively involved in officiating in the organization and or participating in the activities of the Development division of the organization. Members of the ooi Academy represent the academic unit of the organization and are obligated to participate in the ooi Academy Congress (i.e. dress in your academic regalia and sit in the Congress) session of the International meetings.

Any information obtained from members will be used to further the cause of the organization. 

 

Benefits.    

Members shall not pay dues. 

Members occasionally shall receive benefits such as discounts for conferences, workshops and seminars.
Smaller professional organization members may receive sponsorship.
