 GENERAL INFORMATION

Invitation.
You and your students are cordially invited to share your research internationally by submitting, from simple to sophisticated research articles/papers, to our Internet or Face-to-Face ooiCTRLD Service Regions Conferences.  Also, kindly forward this information to your friends, colleagues and students throughout the world who may benefit from the conferences.

Very Important!! You will formally be invited to register for this conference after you have satisfied all the necessary conditions needed for you to be eligible to participate in the conference.

Who Should Participate.
Faculty members from any academic discipline who wishes to publish research work and or supervised student research; Undergraduate Students who want to publish their student research projects; and Graduate Students who wish to publish their research work. The Non-Academic Professionals are also welcome to submit papers on their practical experience in their jobs.

The Language.
The paper must be written in English Language. Both American and British English spellings are welcome.  Conference presentation must also be in English.

Format of the the paper to be submitted.
To access the instructions on how to format your paper or the paper guidelines, you need to Click on Home link at the above Site Menu->, and click on
Conference Proceedings (Refereed)  and or  Conference Journals (Refereed & Cabell's Indexed) links in The Table of Content for the Home page. Then you scroll  down until you get to  THE PROCEEDINGS' PAPER FORMAT AND THE AUTHOR'S GUIDE FOR PREPARING THE MANUSCRIPT OF A PAPER   and or   THE JOURNAL'S PAPER FORMAT AND THE AUTHOR'S GUIDE FOR PREPARING THE MANUSCRIPT OF A PAPER  sections. Then click on the appropriate link to read the instructions on the publication guidelines.

Where your paper will appear, if recommended for acceptance by the Reviewers.
The conference publications are spread over two Proceedings (one on research and the other on Teaching) and four Journals (two Research Journals & two Teaching Journals) that are published two times in a year (every 6 months) for the Internet conference and for each Face-to-Face conference. The Journals are divided into two sets of tiers, ooi Junior Academy Journals and ooi Senior Academy Journals. All our publications are blind-peer-reviewed and refereed. All the journals are currently listed in the Cabell’s Journal Index. Quality research papers will appear in the journals and the rest will appear in the Proceedings. Participants are encourage to submit papers on Teaching, Learning, Assessment, curriculum and accreditation issues.

INTERNET CONFERENCE

Conference Date: Friday, March 25, 2011 to Thursday, April 28, 2011. 
Deadline for submitting papers (s):
None.
Where to submit your paper: E-mail your paper as a Microsoft Word document to Dr. Joe at facultystudentconference@yahoo.com.
Paper Presentation: The paper presentation will take place on the Internet at this conference website. Click on Home link at the above Site Menu->, and click on the Presentation (Internet) link in The Table of Content for the Home page, to view past Internet paper presentations.

Purpose.
In this era of global down-turn in economy the Internet conference offers you a method by which you can save the cost of traveling to a conference location and at the same time meet your research publications obligation to your University by submitting papers that you wish to publish,  to our Internet Conferences.

Type Of Paper Submission.
We welcome any topic in your academic areas. It could be on theory, applications, case studies, models, etc. Submit full paper. We welcome, in particular, papers on Teaching, Learning, Assessment, Curriculum and Accreditation issues. No Abstract papers. No Proceedings papers. Submit full Journal papers only.  If you wish to review past published papers, click on Home link at the above Site Menu->, and scroll down to SEE EXTRACTS FROM THE PUBLISHED PAPERS STARTING FROM 2005 CONFERENCES section to the published papers.

Cost.
The cost of the Internet Conference Registration is only US$100, which covers the administrative cost of processing your paper and the online presentation of your paper. You may purchase the hard copy of the Journal where your paper appears, if you need a copy. The cost of the hard copy will be the cost of printing a copy at the time the publication is printed. Electronic copies of the publications are not provided. However, you can view extracts of Journals by clicking on Home link at the above Site Menu->, and scroll down to SEE EXTRACTS FROM THE PUBLISHED PAPERS STARTING FROM 2005 CONFERENCES section. Then click on any of the publication to review it.

The process from submitting paper to paper appearing in the appropriate Publication.
1. For papers submitted outside U. S. there may be a preliminary review of your paper by the ooiCTRLD in-house editors to determine if your paper is worth being processed (That is, it will likely be recommended for acceptance by the blind reviewers).

2. If it is worth being processed, then you will be asked to register the paper for the conference and pay the conference registration fee (the administrative cost of processing the paper).

3. When the conference registration is received, then your paper will be processed (Blind peer reviewed, your paper will be revised if necessary, the electronic manuscript of your paper will be prepared, and the online presentation of your paper will be scheduled). You will also, receive the acceptance letter of your paper, and complete all the necessary forms for the appearance of your paper in the appropriate publication.

4. The extracts of your paper will be published on the conference website (this website).

5. Then a copy of the hard copy of your paper will be shipped to you, if you bought one.

FACE-to-FACE CONFERENCE (THIS WILL NOT HOLD THIS YEAR)

Paper Presentation: The schedule of your paper presentation will appear on the conference program. The conference program will be placed on the conference website. Click on Home link at the above Site Menu->, and click on the Presentation (Face-to-Face) link in The Table of Content for the Home page, to see your paper presentation schedule.

Purpose.
This is to provide opportunities for participants to travel and share their research experience face-to-face with faculty and students.

Type Of Paper Submission.
We welcome any topic in your academic areas. It could be on theory, applications, case studies, models, etc. Submit Abstract or full research papers to the Service Region, The best accepted papers will appear in the appropriate journal, proceedings or abstracts, depending on the quality of the paper submitted. We welcome, in particular, papers on Teaching, Learning, Assessment, Curriculum and Accreditation issues.

Conference Registration and Cost to the participants.

Conference Invitation Letter for International Participants.
As soon as your conference registration is received, you will be issued an invitation letter for you to attend the conference. You need no less than six months to process your travel visa. So plan ahead.

The process from submitting paper/article to the conference to making presentation at the conference.
1. When ready send your submission via e-mail to the appropriate person.
2. Your submission will be sent to our International peer-reviewers.
3. If your paper is recommended for acceptance, then you will be requested to register for the conference and all the conference registration materials will be e-mail to you.
4. If you are outside then  country where the conference is taking place, you will be issued and invitation letter to attend the conference as soon as your conference registration fee is received.
5. You will make your travel plans and attend the conference.
6. There will be a few revisions to your accepted paper in the process of preparing the publication manuscript of your paper.
7. You will be included in the conference program to present your paper, face-to-face, during the conference.
8. A copy of all the conference publications will giving to you, including where your paper appears.

MISCELLANEOUS

(i) We are looking for volunteer Paper Reviewers.
Aside from research, reviewing conference and Journal papers is another type of intellectual activity for people who teach in the Universities throughout the world. We are looking for people to volunteer and help us review papers submitted to our conferences. The benefit of this is that we will write you a letter to your academic head that you reviewed papers for our conference. This may earn you some points towards salary increase and or promotion during your annual University performance review. Please if you are interested, kindly e-mail dr. Joe at facultystudentconference@yahoo.com the Peer Reviewer application and some information about yourself and the subject area (s) you are comfortable in reviewing papers for us. Thanks.

(ii) Vacant Positions to be filled: Service Region President & Director.
Our organization (ooiCTRLD) that organizes these conferences has global services to faculty and students. The appointment of a Service Region President & Director is one year only, renewable every year.
