Definitions: The word "paper" will be used to represent a paper or article that you submitted to the conference.
Note 1: The information provided on this page applies to all the year-round conferences.
Note 2: If you submitted a paper that has appeared in any of this conference's past publications, the paper will be rejected.
Note 3: This conference discourages plagiarism.

The Journals of the Conference are another publication options where you can publish your research paper (s). All papers are blind peer reviewed. The purpose of the Journals is to provide dissemination avenue for the results of quality research projects which you have completed among interested readers throughout the world . The are two sets of Journals produced by the Conference: Journals of the ooi Junior Academy  and Journals of the ooi Senior Academy.  The tier of the Journals of the ooi Senior Academy is higher than that of the ooi Junior Academy. The quality of the research papers published in the ooi Senior Academy Journals is much higher than those of the ooi Junior Academy. The papers that are not related to teaching and learning are published in the Research Journals and those related to teaching and learning are published in Teaching Journals. All the Journals are refereed and also listed in Cabell Journal Citation Index. The are two Research Journals. Their covers look like:

NUMBER OF TIMES AND WHEN THE CONFERENCE JOURNALS ARE PUBLISHED EVERY YEAR

The conference Journals are published two times per year. The Spring versions are published at the end of June each year. All the conference Journal papers that have paid their conference registration fees up to the deadline for the March Conference will appear in the Spring Journals. The Journal publications are numbered as:
1. Research Journal of the ooi Junior Academy, Transactions on ... Number 1, ISBN 0-9703797-7-3

2. Teaching Journal of the ooi Junior Academy, Transactions on ... Number 1,  ISBN 0-9703797-8-1
3. Research Journal of the ooi Senior Academy, Transactions on ...Number 1,  ISBN 0-9703797-5-7, and

4. Teaching Journal of the ooi Senior Academy, Transactions on ...Number 1,   ISBN 0-9703797-6-5

The Fall versions of the publication are produced at the end of December each year. All the conference Journal papers that have paid their conference registration fees up to the deadline for the September Conference will appear in the Fall Journals. The Journal  publications are numbered as:

THE JOURNAL'S PAPER FORMAT AND THE AUTHOR'S GUIDE FOR PREPARING THE MANUSCRIPT OF A PAPER

Each paper that appears in the Conference Journal must meet the publication standard in writing style and format. Moreover, there are rules that must be followed in preparing the manuscript of your paper in readiness for the publication. Any paper that does not adhere to the format standard and rules for preparing the manuscript will not be published. THE PEER REVIEW FORM THAT WILL BE USED TO REVIEW YOUR JOURNAL PAPER

When you submit your paper with the correct format to the conference, the paper will go through a blind peer reviewed process. That means the information about the author (s) of the paper will be deleted from the paper before sending it off to your fellow faculty all over the world to review. This way the author (s) of the paper will not be known to the reviewers of the paper. Hence it is called blind peer review. The reviewers will complete the review forms and return them to the conference. There are at least two reviewers per each paper.

THE COPYRIGHT TRANSFER FORM

Completing and submitting a Copyright Transfer Form is a necessary condition for publishing your paper. The Copyright Transfer Form gives the conference the legal right to publish your paper. If your paper has been accepted for appearance in the Conference Journals, you must complete and fax a completed Copyright Transfer Form to the conference.
