Copyright Transfer Form

The transfer of copyright from the Author(s) to the Publisher is required for the publication of each paper. The transfer of copyright is essential to protect the authors and the publisher from the consequences of unauthorized use of the content of the paper. The authors shall grant ooiCTRLD all the rights, including the subsidiary right, of their article. However, authors retain the right to use their article without charge in any book of which they are the authors or editors, after it has appeared in the ooiCTRLD publications.

Whereas ooiCTRLD has undertaking to publish the article named below, of which the undersigned is the author. The author grants and assigns exclusive right to ooiCTRLD for its use. The exclusive right includes all rights of whatsoever kind or nature now or hereafter, as protected by the Copyright Laws (common or statutory) of the United States and all foreign countries in all languages, of article named below, including all subsidiary rights. ooiCTRLD, in turn, grants to the author the right of republication of the article in any book of which he or she is the author or editor, subject only to his or her giving proper credit in the book to the original publication of the article by ooiCTRLD.

The author guarantees that the article furnished has not been published previously elsewhere. Otherwise, the author guarantees that if it has been previously published in whole or in part in a copyrighted medium the Author will submit an assignment of copyright to ooiCTRLD with the manuscript. The author warrants that the manuscript is the author’s original work. If the work was prepared jointly, the author agrees to inform co-authors of the terms of this agreement. The author also warrants that the article contains no libelous or unlawful statements, and does not infringe on the rights of others.
